We set out to open a medical clinic that offers exceptional patient and clinical care with unparalleled service that is genuinely warm and compassionate.
We knew that the right balance had to be achieved in order to provide efficient service without sacrificing care. With our commitment to quality, ethical and empathetic care balanced with efficient processes and systems, we took our time to find the optimal mix of form with function, efficiency with empathy, productivity with respect.
These decisions were made with one focus, never compromising on the the patient or their care.

about your visit
To help prepare you for your visit to Eyes First:
- Your first consultation may take up to 90 minutes. We always advise our patients to allow enough time due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Please bring your referral to your appointment along with any spectacles and a list of your current medications. Your referral is important as it allows us to process your medicare rebate.
- Drops may be used to dilate your pupils. This may blur your vision for several hours and during that time you may be unable to drive. It is advisable that you ask someone else to drive you to and from your appointment.
- Payment is required at the time of your consultation. This enables you to claim an immediate rebate from Medicare. Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos are accepted.
- If you are unable to attend your appointment, we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice.

- Alternate Saturday sessions are available because we know how busy you are.

- We will keep you informed of any delays or changes to wait times and reschedule if convenient for you.
- We will provide opportunities for feedback whether positive or negative and follow up with you regarding the progress of feedback.
- After the consultation, we will clearly explain any fees and charges.
- We will make sure that you have a space to park when visiting our clinic.
OUR BACKGROUND
Prior to opening the specialist eye centre in 2017, we spent two years searching Melbourne for the perfect location to open an eye clinic. We finally found it in Springvale. It took another two years to plan it to our exact requirements with purpose-built consulting rooms, integrated orthoptic rooms, minor ops facilities, testing facilities and of course, facilities to ensure the comfort of the most important people of all.....our patients.
We've put every thought into the flow of the clinic to ensure that your experience in our centre is entirely positive. Our efficient and effective staff, processes and systems means you shouldn't have to wait a minute longer than you have to.
We invested in the latest state-of-the-art equipment, further enhancing your visit. We aim to make your visit as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
