Eyes First is doing its part in following the government guidelines, helping to protect our patients, staff and community from COVID-19.
Due to the constantly changing environment and government regulations around COVID-19, we are experiencing staff shortages, delivery delays, service disruptions and density limitations. We ask that all visitors attending our clinic be patient as our staff are working beyond their capacities to look after you and provide care in a challenging environment. Our highest priority has always been the safety of our patients, doctors and staff.
Due to the constantly changing environment and government regulations around COVID-19, we are experiencing staff shortages, delivery delays, service disruptions and density limitations. We ask that all visitors attending our clinic be patient as our staff are working beyond their capacities to look after you and provide care in a challenging environment. Our highest priority has always been the safety of our patients, doctors and staff.
- Therefore we have introduced safety protocols to ensure the safety of all those who visit and work in our clinic:
- Hand sanitisers available throughout the clinic including entry.
- Any patients who are not feeling well are asked to delay their appointment by at least 2 weeks. Any patients with flu-like symptoms are asked to visit their GP and/or an apropriate clinical centre.
- All waiting room chairs are arranged based on current density limits.
- Family and friends may be asked to wait in the car to allow space in the waiting room for other patients.
- Patients are encouraged to wear a mask but it is not mandatory.
